Tilte: Illusion between life and death

Inspired by the experience when I attended the funeral of my grand mother a few year ago and wore white mourning dress.

As Nick Cave writes, “Soundsuits camouflage the body, masking and creating a second skin that conceals race, gender, and class, forcing the viewer to look without judgment.”

When I engage in creative styling and art direction, I play with this rule not only aesthetically but also using fabric and colour. I used a raincoat, a garment worn equally regardless of gender, to create a Japanese mourning dress.

He is in his illusion. He never knew when he would wake up or not in the future. The plant is breathing instead of him under the sun.
